Originally founded in the village of Cranswick in East Yorkshire, the stud has been based in Leicestershire since 1988.
Cranswick Warmblood Stud has supplied a large number of highly successful dressage horses to English riders, including 9 horses to the British dressage teams and one for the Swedish team.
All the stallions at Cranswick Warmblood Stud are fully graded and performance tested in their country of origin and have maintained their grading status with their societies.
Most of the stallions are Danish Warmbloods and Cranswick Warmblood Stud is very proud of its close relationship with Dansk Warmblod - The Danish Warmblood Society.
Apart from standing stallions at stud, Cranswick Warmblood Stud also breeds horses, trains dressage horses and is a Ministry of Agriculture approved semen collection centre.
