Peter is fully graded and performance tested with the Oldenburger Society in Denmark and approved by AESB.

At the performance test Peter was described as a robust stallion with a good character and extremely good temperament. Peter works well and rhythmically in all three paces. Peter shows good and obedient jumping. Peter's general competition abilities are good.

Peter started his competition career in September 1993. His successes so far include:

 

 

Peter's pedigree is well founded both in breeding and performance terms. His first two crops of foals have been very good and he is specially suitable for lighter mares where he adds substance, correctness and movement.

Peter's sire, Urprinz, came to Denmark in 1987 after grading and performance test in Germany. In 1988 a foal from his first crop was selected as Foal of the Year with the Danish Oldenburger Society. From that same first crop no less than 3 young stallions has successfully been graded and performance tested.

Cranswick's Peter's grandsire, Ulan, was Champion at the Stallion Grading in Oldenburg 1968 and Verbandssieger at the performance test in Wester Celle in 1969. His dam, Anke, was a grade A show-jumper.

Kronprinz XX sired several show-jumpers a.o. Karthago winner of the Gold Coast Grand Prix in Palm Beach, Florida.

Peter's motherline has been responsible for a number of graded stallions - Kajser, Ramses, Royal Blue and Chronando - and performance horses both in showjumping - Royal Blue 4th in Böckmann Championship 1991 - dressage - Aleks Prix St. George and Intermediare I, now in Ireland - and showing - Peter's full sister, Puck, was "Mare of the Year" 1991.
