He has completed the performance test successfully and received his final grading at Herning in 1999. The test rider in dressage at the performance test, Jan Christensen, classed Salomon as a dressage horse of International caliber.

Salomon's sire, Schwadroneur, is bred on classic trakhener lines and is successful in Grand Prix. dressage under Anne Grete Tørnblad. Schwadroneur has the second highest dressage index of all Danish Warmblood stallions. He goes back to Herzog - sire of Marzog who, under Anne Grete Tørnblad, was voted dressage horse of the Century by "l'Annee d'Equipe"

Salomon's indexes places him firmly in the top both in terms of confirmation and dressage performance. Salomon's index for dressage, based on his grading, performance test and pedigree, is currently the 5th highest ever and the highest in his age group.
